Policies

By booking your guided fishing trip with Bayou Guide Service and Captain Robby Trahan, you hereby acknowledge with your deposit or full payment for services that you have read, fully understand and agree with all subject matter here known as the Bayou Guide Service Policies.

Captain Trahan is not responsible for mechanical, electrical or any other type of failure in regard to his boat.  Any unforseen failure preventing any trip, underway or before scheduled trip occurs, will constitute a rebooking of the service at the next available date agreeable by Captain Trahan and customer within the next 365 days.

Rescheduling and Refund Policy:

If customer needs to rebook their fishing trip they must email notice at least 10 days prior to their fishing trip date to retain deposit.  Any refunds of deposits or payments for cancelled fishing trips without 10 days notice is at the discretion of Captain Trahan.

January 1, 2009 ::: Notice to booking person- It is the authorizing agent (person booking the fishing trip) to pass along this information known as the Bayou Guide Service Policies to all persons participating in the fishing trip.  Any attempt by any person that has not formally introduced theirself to Captain Trahan by way of a deposit or full payment must seek any and all restitution of any monies paid to Bayou Guide Service under these terms and conditions by the paying party.

All refunds issued to customers will be rendered within 30 days of notification by customer to cancel scheduled fishing trip if Captain Trahan is given the required 10 day notice prior to scheduled date.  All refunds incur a 20% rebooking fee.

It is the booking agent (person paying the deposit or fishing trip purchase) to pass along the Bayou Guide Service Policies and have every person attending the fishing trip with Captain Trahan fully understand this page and terms of service provided.  If under any circumstance the subject of refund is approached and the instrument of refund is used, Captain Trahan is only responsible to the booking party to return the funds under this policy to the person that paid.  Captain Trahan is not responsible for any miscommunication, misunderstanding or mathmatic fallout amongst fishing partners and the agreed upon percentages of payment for the fishing trip.

Captain Trahan reserves the right to advise customers of non productive fishing and/or bad weather conditions that would hinder and more than likely make the fishing trip a bad experience.  In this case, the customer has the option of being rebooked at the next available date agreed upon.  This means no refund of deposit or special purchase price if the customer so chooses to use this option within the Bayou Guide Service Policies.
