The fishing has been oustanding here lately on Sabine Lake. Easy limits of trout and redfish are being caught daily.  We have a major front approaching this week. The coldest temperatures so far of the year are forecasted. This will shut down the trout bite. The bird bite is about to end on the lake for numbers. It will be time for big trout on the flats with corkies then. I’d like to thank all my clients who fished with me this year. I really enjoyed all the new friendships and memories we made. I’m going to shut down the fishing for awhile and do some duck hunting with my two sons. God bless and thank you everyone.
