February 9th 2020 Sabine Lake fishing report

Well, its been awhile since I have posted a fishing report for the area of Sabine Lake. First of all my website got hacked which took a few phone calls from a good friend too fix it. Now we are back online and I will keep the latest fishing reports updated. As everyone knows, the last year of fishing on Sabine Lake was a mystery that kept everyone scratching their heads. Some days the trout would show up and the bite would be unbelievable. The next day the damn things were gone. It was extremely hard to pattern and inconstant weird weather did not help! Most of the best action was definitely South last year due too all the freshwater.

We are still fresh in certain parts of the lake, but there is salinity down South. I fished last week and scouted maybe a few hours and was able to find some solid size trout and plenty of redfish. With the right conditions and some warmer weather fishing should pick up. Mirrodines seem to be the best baits to produce numbers and soft plastics Capt. Lanes ghost minnows in opening night color.

We’re getting ready to start booking trips. The FIRST 10 trips of the year will get a $50 discount off normal pricing and all new clients will receive a $100 discount.
