Trout Bite is Awesome!!
Fished this weekend with the Donahue family Mike, Cody,Kevin, and friend Charlie. Well for two days straight we stayed hooked up with fish. The first day started out kind of slow but it ended in a bang. We caught 40 trout and lots of hard fighting hardheads. The boys loved whatever pulled on their lines. Cody, the youngest of the bunch, was crowned with the “King Hardhead Catcher” award but his luck changed the second day as he put a whooping on his older brother Kevin. Charlie, their buddy, had the stroke for two days and caught trout very well. As for Mike and I well let’s say ,we caught them at will! Those boys were some of the most diehard fishermen I ever fished with. This is what fishing is all about,
getting our youth envolved. It made me fell proud to learn that Mike has raised them boys with a passion for the outdoors. I really enjoyed the two days spent with them. The last day we didn’t fish for long because it was so hot! We landed thirty trout in about an hour and half and ran out of bait. We lost about 15 nice ones.
